Apoyo a los procesos ambientales, técnicos y operativos en las rutas de selección de residuos aprovechables en las zonas residenciales y la gestión de residuos de envases y empaques llevados a cabo por la empresa EKOPLANET S.A.S E.S.P.

Abstract

This internship aims to support the environmental, technical and operational processes to Ekoplanet, a public utility company, because it has all the parameters set out in Decree 596 of 2016; it is dedicated to the services of collection and marketing of the solid waste that can be used, and is in the need to implement strategies of improvement and optimization in the selection and collection routes in the critical residential areas that present the minimum use of their waste. This is through diagnostic activities identifying the weaknesses, opportunities, strengths and threats of the current management of the route of selection and collection, developing and implementing an improvement plan with viable actions for the optimization of the processes, promoting citizen participation in the separation processes at the source through training. The results obtained from the diagnosis were the basis for the construction of the DOFA matrix, carrying out an improvement plan in the operations developed, in order to implement and evaluate the plan through the quantitative observation method, achieved positive and efficient results, therefore, an optimization is presented in the operations executed by the company.
