Evaluación del sistema de coordenadas de proyección local de la Ciudad De Medellín

Abstract

When dealing with coordinates, distances and areas taken from a plane projected to the ground, care must be taken because, depending on the local projection plane used, different distortions can be present such as: linear, distances and angular; so the need arises to evaluate the current local projection system of Medellín, which guarantees that the parameters currently being used contemplate the current dimensions of the city and the deformations. In order to carry out the evaluation of the local plan of Medellín it is proposed a methodology of information collection, secondary that allows the determination of the base parameters, that served for the realization of the local projection system of the city of Medellín and as results to appreciate the comparison between different cartographic works carried out and in this way to produce an evaluative concept.
