Abstract

Taking into account the national government's approaches to public gender policy for early childhood, this work seeks to propose a series of contributions and criticisms of the approaches, guidelines and processes that are developed in terms of identity and gender roles. . Returning to some of the proposals and projects undertaken by the district government, an analysis is made of the influence of certain economic trends that allow progress, or on the contrary, stop any attempt that seeks to generate changes in the way children, in their first stage of formation, they build their identity and from this they fulfill some roles in society. In addition, based on a comparative analysis with other countries in the region, some advances and limitations of government policies are pointed out, in order to thus, taking into account the experience of other countries, propose policies that guarantee the optimal development of capacities. of boys and girls, without their sex being a conditioner or limiting factor for the construction of their identity.
