Resumen
This investigation aims to comprehend how young learners from 10th and 11th grade of Ciudad Chengdú IED High School build a sense of the city through their narratives, concerning day-to-day life in Bogotá. This is a qualitative-descriptive study with a hermeneutical approach. It seeks to interpret the urban dynamics and transcript them into narrative and cartographic languages. It has as theoretical categories: the narrative, the city, the day-to-day life, young people, and the sense. This allows the uprising of narratives regarding space. The analysis of texts created within the institution was made through the hermeneutic circle proposed by Ricoeur (1995). The city prenotions, the structural analysis of the text, and the later elaboration of sense facilitated the general objective outreach. In that way, findings are shown to be tending to metaphor preponderance of Bolonia neighborhood and Usme locality such as the significance that strategies have to define the city, the memory, and the recognition of distinctive characters of the surroundings, the positioning of socio-spatial holograms and fictional images that orient the practices of the young schooled and the high presence of heterogeneous reference. All the previous make of the student an active social agent, creator of the places that s/he inhabits. Finally, the attached importance of the continuity of the project is stated since its outreaches adhere to a methodological matrix of comparative nature.
