Resumen
Colombia, is a country considered as pre-industrial agricultural, bases its economy on the exploitation of its resources and production of basic products, has a little more than 60% of its territory destined for agricultural purposes, however, despite its high production of fruit and vegetables, has an obstacle in marketing because a large number of farmers do not have enough money, technology and training to be competitive in the national market and much less global Most of them have difficulties to take products from their farms, either due to lack of transportation or access roads in poor condition, being necessary to go to "intermediaries", who buy the products at low prices, and then distribute them in the larger, more expensive cities. With the aim of contributing to the situation described, in the project "Mobile GIS application oriented to the commercialization of agricultural products" initially, basic information was collected, including names, surnames, address and contact number, as well as the geographic location of the actors in the process of commercialization of agricultural products (farmers, transporters and final consumers), in the city of Yopal, Casanare, later they will be linked in a Geographic Information System (GIS). All of the above, in order to create a tool that allows Colombian farmers to establish a direct marketing channel, as well as to plan and optimize time and resources.
