Resumen
The development of a project, especially in the software industry, due to its complex nature, you can often find many problems and unforeseen events, such as failure to meet deadlines, present costs higher than budgeted and result in low quality products that They generate customer dissatisfaction. Currently many of the companies dedicated to software implementation, are in a constant evolution and renewal of their methodologies to achieve increasingly successful results, in this aspect, what they are always looking for is the minimization of expenses, the increase in revenues and benefits, and the most optimal use of time. Although there are multiple methods and analysis techniques that support the implementation of software, none of them is focused properly on risk mitigation, an aspect that becomes important in the development of projects, since by identifying the factors risk that may occur in the implementations, will reduce the possibility of failure in the execution of projects. The main objective of this study is to determine the feasibility of developing a methodology for risk management in SAP ERP software implementation projects, which will allow timely identification of the operational risks present before and during the implementation of the phases of the project in order to identify, evaluate and treat them, mitigating their realization.
