Abstract

This work is developed in order to encourage participation in unconventional sports and generate the responsible use of sports scenarios available for practice in the municipality of Guasca Cundinamarca; Recently in the municipality a skatepark was inaugurated for the use of the community, attending to the needs of young people who practice sports such as BMX, skate, roller coaster, scooter who did not have an ideal space for the practice of their disciplines. In addition, the office of youth sports and recreation recently offered within its programs the training schools the Ultimate School, thus opening the doors to the practice of unconventional sports in the municipality. In the municipality there is a population of 15003 inhabitants of which around 900 people are linked in any of the sports, recreational or physical activity offers that the sports office has, so it is very important to publicize the new sports and the different possibilities that exist for the practice of sport in the municipality, in addition to looking for different strategies for linking people to the new unconventional sport programs since there is a large percentage of the population that is unaware of the existence of these sports and the possibility of practicing them in the municipality. On April 7, the inauguration of a SkatePark in the municipality was carried out in order to expand the sports offer and thus serve a larger population, but there is a special concern on the part of the administration of the stage since it is a space Vulnerable to bad practices, therefore, it can be misused and truncate the real objectives of the construction of the park, which is why it is very important to raise awareness and raise awareness among people who come to this place about rules of use, care and behavior that must be taken in place for the benefit of the athlete and the sports scenario.
