Aplicación de un sistema de información geográfica para el análisis de zonas críticas de tráfico vehicular en la localidad de Teusaquillo

Abstract

The problem of mobility in the city of Bogotá, specifically in the Teusaquillo locality, affects most of the population whom must travel through those roads in public or private vehicles. The study identified critical intersections of the locality using GIS and GPS tools for the location of the chosen vehicles for the study. The road demarcations were made by Geofences and processed in ArgGIS 10.1 program, where were located 19 geofences that surrounded the locality by roads such as Caracas Avenue, 68 Av., the Americas Av., 22, 26 and 63 Street. As a result of the work, critical areas of entry and exit of the locality were identified, also the areas with most traffic jam, the input-output relationship and road projection of the location, making math processes.
