Resumen
This report systematizes the internal training experience developed by the Colombian Association of Popular Communication (ACCOP), aiming to identify, analyze, and make visible the definitions, semantic networks, and uses of the concept of popular communication present in its study sessions. Based on the analysis of meeting records and guided by the theoretical frameworks of Cultural Studies, the Political Economy of Communication, and the Buen Vivir paradigm, a systematization matrix was built to organize and understand the organization’s conceptual evolution. The results reveal a transformation in how communication is understood—as a political, pedagogical, and emancipatory practice—and provide methodological guidelines to strengthen training processes and the collective production of knowledge within ACCOP.
