Propuesta de Sensibilizacion y Formación Musical Básica Fundamentada en Instrumentos de Percusión para Ser Aplicada en Niños en Silla de Ruedas con Edades entre 6 y 11 Años de Edad.

Abstract

This degree document called “Propuesta de sensibilización y formación musical básica” ( awareness and basic musical training proposal ), based on percussion instruments, to be applied on wheelchair children with ages between 9 and 15 years old, seeks to be, principally, a work to bring gears to the participants, being consequent with the children motor development needs. It is born from the experience i had a few years ago about disability with deaf and blind children, this took me to make this pedagogical propose from music therapy creations to wheelchair children with the aim of contribute with the training of teachers who want to push out into this field. In 2012 in Valparaíso, Chile, the project directed by Marcelo Maira Moya: “Estimulación sonora para personas con discapacidad” (Sound stimulation for people with disability) was presented on Escuela especial Magdalena Ávalos Cruz. This degree work objective was to generate a sensitization and musical formation proposal, based on percussion to be applied in wheelchair children aged between 6 and 11 years old; the methodology that was used in this work, was the knowledge of people’s experiences who conduct investigations and musical documents about disability and some supporting evidence, as books and articles; it was also made an interview and several surveys about how could it work and contribute being applied. This proposal is divided in a first place, in sensibilisation and another in basic formation founded in percussion learning. I believe this document can contribute to people interested in musical therapy, and research about it. The audios of musical creations made for this proposal are included.
