Resumen
The main objective of this paper is to address the problem of sedentary lifestyle in a specific work environment of a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company through the implementation of sports activities. Sedentarism is a growing health challenge in today's workplace, and especially in companies where the main work activity is customer service through calls or telephone chat, internal collaborators are exposed to working conditions that in the long term can be detrimental to their well-being. Initially, the objective of the culture and life area interns is to promote recreational activities that add value to the maintenance of the organizational culture and the work environment. There it evidenced the main problem that is addressed in this work which is the sedentary lifestyle, being this a BPO company the collaborators are exposed to specific working conditions that tend to be harmful to health in the medium term, the lack of physical activity and prolonged position can be detrimental to the welfare of the company's employees, thus affecting the performance and overall dynamics of the company. To counteract this problem, in this work a series of surveys are implemented which will have times (before and after) in conjunction with the promotion of sports activities, which involve within working hours to employees, developing physical movement, interpersonal and social relationships, as well as strengthening the environment and organizational culture of the company. Finally, this project aims to establish a solid pillar in the understanding of the importance of physical activity in addressing the sedentary lifestyle in the work environment of the BPO, and how these can contribute in a good way to establish or develop a healthy organizational culture and a stable work environment.
