Diseño e implementación de un sistema de monitoreo remoto para contenedores refrigerados en la empresa Cold Containers S.A.S.

Abstract

This project "Design and implementation of a remote monitoring system for refrigerated containers in the company COLD CONTANERS SAS” is a project where implements IOT technology focused on the transmission of information in real time in the field of reefer containers, allowing different users with different roles within the company COLD CONTANERS SAS facilitates its functions through a system which allows them to access and monitor the information of the different containers located within the national territory. The company COLD CONTANERS SAS dedicated to both preventive maintenance and corrective of refrigerant containers is faced with a problem which affects them both in time and financial resources directly. This is due to the great distance separates them from the places where the containers are located, which means that the just doing a diagnosis or checking the operation of the container to find failures would imply the displacement of the technician to the place; So the need arises to a remote system which facilitates some processes both for them as a company, and for their clients, since the latter will also have an advantage in the decrease in the times of maintenance and access through the platform to the information of their respective containers. The system is made up of hardware and software deployed with cloud services, allowing access to information from anywhere through an Internet connection. It is also important to highlight that within the web platform, users will be able to find different functionalities within which the visualization of the data will be found obtained by the different existing sensors in the container, the location of the containers, generation of alarms and reports among others
