Resumen
The laboratories at the Francisco José de Caldas District University are a fundamental part where the students can apply their knowledge, strengthen their skills and have an approach to job environments, regardless of their training; through these things we can identified that the students’ knowledge requires spaces where they can perform the skills and abilities get from your learning process, in this way an integral construction is produce in the students and they could have a real approach to knowledge. It is observed that for the technological faculty it is pertinent to recreate a space that allows the student to strengthen their theoretical foundations through laboratory practices or workshops, however the career control and automation engineering have very few machines that allow them to become familiar with an automated industrial environment and the machines that exist for this purpose, are not used in their entirety because they cannot be modified, they are regulated and specifically limited to the development of specific activities. For this reason, the aim of the project is to provide an alternative which automated machine with industrial characteristics, incorporating modern technologies focused on IoT, smart factories and industry 4.0, where the student can carry out interactive learning processes with the devices that make up the system process. The development consists of restructuring and adapting a pill counting machine that allows executing an automated manufacturing process for the pharmaceutical industry. The machine provides interaction with the fundamental bases of automation from field work to the computational field; In addition, the project articulates several modern technological tools used in the intelligent industry, in this way the project proposes an academic approach to give it a pedagogical use in the laboratories of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. The machine is designed to the academic environment, but its application focus is the field of the pharmaceutical industry, in which the developed system manages a production process for counting vitamin supplements and their bottling in a more efficient and personalized way. It is important to mention that through this project aim to constitute an alternative that allows the student to have a job perspective in which he understands the methodologies and technologies that are seen outside the classroom.
