Equipamientos urbanos y apropiación del espacio: Parque Metropolitano Tercer Milenio de la ciudad de Bogotá

Abstract

This academic study inquiries about the appropriation that the urban facilities and public space, as a social places and social facts; can create through the aesthetic and formal value whit they are made, this because their faculty to generate pride in the people and to promote the social inclusion of marginal groups. In that way the study has the object to identify, characterize and analyze the dynamics that in nowadays people develop in the metropolitan park Third Millennium, famous project of the urban renewal that was made between years 1995-2005, to contain the humanitarian and social crisis that presented the cartridge, in the Santa Ines neighborhood at the center of the city. In short, the study seek to know what is the meaning of this space for the Bogotanos and what kind of impression deserve as urban facilitie, public space; open to the sports, the recreation and outdoor activities in the city.
