Resumen
The Ministry of Housing, City and Territory is a governmental entity created by article 14 of Resolution 1444 of 2011. It is in charge of formulating, directing and coordinating the policies, plans, programs and regulations on drinking water and basic sanitation in the national territory. This allows territorial development, expanding the coverage of access to public services of water and basic sanitation and the integral management of solid waste. To this end, the Ministry financially supports projects that request its intervention, prioritizes projects within the framework of the departmental water plans and executes policies and programs through the Vice Ministry of Water and Basic Sanitation. This document briefly explains the mechanism for making projects viable carried out by the Ministry in the project evaluation group. In addition, it proposes a guide that serves as a tool within the Ministry to comply with the main objective of the internship. In accordance with the above, the technical requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Drinking Water and Basic Sanitation Sector (Resolutions 330 of 2017 and 799 of 2021) are extracted, as well as the requirements for presentation and viability of projects in the sector (Resolution 0661 of 2019).
