Resumen
This article presents the implementation of a low-cost, high-performance GPS global positioning system for small mobile robots, using the ESP32 development board, a GPS module, and an OLED display. The need for this system arises due to the high investment costs represented by the process of implementing a positioning system in educational environments, which allow to evaluate and visualize in real time the location in which mobile robots are located in work spaces. internal or external. Due to this, a versatile system capable of meeting the needs is required. The implemented positioning system uses elements such as actuators (servomotors), sensor (GPS), visualization display and development card (ESP32). The location of the SERB robot in which the system was implemented is evaluated by means of the GPS module, displayed in longitude, latitude and altitude data on the OLED display and transmitted by the ESP32 development board in real time via Wi-Fi to the web platform. ThingSpeak. Finally, this implementation provides an affordable design, development and programming option in academic environments.
