Resumen
Abstract Education must play a leading role in strengthening the political culture, in this sense, this research analyzes what has been the School governance incidence like government policy on the formation of political subjects (political participation and citizenship), investigating and analyzing what are the mechanisms and actual areas of participation for students of the official educational institutions of one commune of Soacha.
Despite the interest shown by young people to be part of the political instance of the institutions, it is evident that there are still missing opportunities for participation and promotion of the politician in the commune; being found shortcomings in communication between the different bobies that make up the school governments.
