Resumen
This internship report is part of the degree work modalities according to Agreement 012 of 2022 of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. The internship took place at the I.E.D. Republic of China, located in the town of Engativá in Bogotá. One of the objectives of the institution is to guarantee the inclusion of quality, equity and relevance of the population with disabilities. To do this, it has teachers specialized in different disciplines, according to the needs of the students and the study plan. The internship responded to the need to address the learning of mathematics in students with visual disabilities. The possibility of limited attention directed at the creation of inclusive educational environments that facilitate the full development of mathematical skills in these students led us to question the lack or lack of adapted resources, specific pedagogical strategies and the use of accessible technologies in classrooms. class. Based on these questions, a research strategy was proposed that involved the direct participation of two student interns as companions during mathematics classes for students with visual disabilities. This strategy aimed to closely observe the barriers and challenges faced by students in real time. The interns collected qualitative and quantitative data, identifying specific areas of difficulty and using them to propose the creation of teaching material.
