Resumen
This research aims to analyze the stories of boys and girls from Usme location, the understanding that they have of their experience of internal displacement, around their social and contextual relationships, in order to understand from their own voice, how these narratives form them in relation to others and the space they live in; the meaning they give to displacement and the relationships that develop in the place they inhabit.
This research starts from a qualitative approach, through the narrative Biographical method and from a focus group made up of primary school students from educational district institutions, it collects four oral audio stories in which the boys and girls participating in the research narrate their experience of internal displacement.
Stories that are analyzed in structure and content and that allow to give an account of the role assumed by children in a situation of displacement, as well as to show emerging aspects around themselves, their relationship with their family, their peers and their environment, both in the places of origin and of arrival.
The results of this research indicate that children who have experienced displacement, assume an active role in their environments of origin, given that in this space they are given greater participation in socio-cultural activities and interaction with elements of that environment, in contrast to the arrival environment, in which children assume a passive role, since the geographical characteristics of this new context represent insecurity, and the socio-economic activities are typical of adults.
