Resumen
The purpose of the present project is to make known the existing vegetation by carrying out a floristic characterization of the Lenguerke road, located in the northern zone of the Serranía de los Yariguies National Park, which communicates the municipalities of San Vicente de Chucurí and Zapatoca. For this purpose, four rectangular plots of 1000 m2 or 0.1 hectares (50m x 20m) and one of 100 m2 (10m x 10m) were made, which were located and distributed according to the coverages which are High Andean Forest (San Vicente de Chucurí Zone) and Subparamo (Zapatoca Zone). Within the plots, information related to the dasometric variables and the position within the plot of the shrubs and plant samples were captured for subsequent identification in the facilities of the Forest Herbarium (UDBC). Once the work within the plots was completed, we proceeded to make a catalog of the flora within the trail. Diversity was estimated using indices such as: Margalef, Shannon-Wiener, Simpon, Pielou and Alpha-Fisher, which allowed comparison with other studies carried out in the Andes. The structure of the studied area is represented by a tendency of "inverted J" indicating dynamic forest configurations. The dominance of the Cyathea Sm. group, configures a regeneration process different from that presented in other studies of mountain ecosystems.
