Resumen
One of the objectives of occupational health is to ensure the welfare, health and working conditions of each individual in an organization, allowing work activity to develop positively, being beneficial for the worker, reflected in their physical, mental and emotional quality of life. Providing information on how to act in emergency situations reduces the effects that can be derived on people, the organization and the community; the doubts of action in the different degrees of emergency are minimized and the implication of the personnel that will have to operate of organized form, with the purpose of reducing the personal risks, the damages to the environment, to the facilities of the company, its surroundings and community , guaranteeing the safe evacuation of its occupants, if necessary. The Minister of Labor, Luis Eduardo Garzón and the Director of Labor Risks of the Ministry of Labor, Andrea Torres Matiz, explain how all small, medium and large companies in the private and public sector should be in a position to respond to an emergency, have access to emergency plans and brigades such as first aid, fires and evacuation in the event of potentially disastrous events, to ensure the safety of workers, while at the same time strengthening the culture of safety against risks of different nature. (Ministry of Labor, 2016) Because of the aforementioned, SMART FIT S.A.S. BOSA, in order to comply with applicable legal regulations, sees the need to generate an emergency and contingency plan providing the necessary tools, procedures and actions, in order to prevent and control the risks associated with the different activities carried out by the SMART FIT S.A.S. BOSA
