Abstract

In this project we seek to show the importance and the different applications that may have GPS technology in care and disaster prevention. Designing a public information platform focused on emergency management, an application for smartphones based on GPS technology that allows users to both access a database and feed it with alerts, and status of the situation arises that is present, tools, even if they are everyone's hand are not commonly used. To support information gathering platform GPS devices that are commonly used in logistics and fleet management will be used. This project seeks to engage the ICT Master Plan Bogotá, which at this time is in the organization of workshops. The strategic axis is intended to cover in this project is safety - Resilience and Disaster Management and Emergency.
