Abstract

The current business scenario is dynamic, complex and highly competitive, characterized by the flexibility required by rapid change in technology, expectations, consumer behaviors and global market conditions. Hence the importance of the integration of information and communications technologies (ICT), an integration that can be complex at this pace, given that technology plays a transcendental role in almost all business aspects. ICT as a set of resources allows us to align, optimize, enable, grow, innovate and compete. Delving into a systemic approach that empowers business through the integration of technology is Enterprise Architecture (EA), a methodology that supports business transformation thanks to the holistic understanding it provides. Mapping this discipline requires a strategic effort for a correct alignment of interests and how they are related, creating a coherent comprehensive vision, through the comprehensive ARCHIMATE tool.
