Resumen
The main objective of the document is to formulate and implement a Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan (PGIRS) at the San Rafael District Educational Institution, branch A, located in the city of Bogotá. To achieve this, an analysis and diagnosis of the management of solid waste in the institution was carried out, from its generation to disposal or treatment, through the collection of primary and secondary information. Based on the results obtained, the current issues were identified in order to propose alternative solutions, which will be implemented in collaboration with the student community, the community action board, and the neighboring community, all through environmental education.

El documento tiene como objetivo principal formular e implementar un Plan de Gestión Integral de Residuos Sólidos (PGIRS) en la Institución Educativa Distrital San Rafael sede A ubicado en la ciudad de Bogotá.
Para lograr esto, se realizó un análisis y diagnóstico del manejo desde su generación hasta la disposición o tratamiento de los residuos sólidos en la institución mediante la recolección de información primaria y secundaria. Con los resultados obtenidos se identificaron los problemas presentes, para así, proponer alternativas de solución las cuales se implementarán con la comunidad estudiantil, junta de acción comunal y comunidad vecina al plantel desde la educación ambiental.
