Plan de gestión integral de residuos sólidos generados por la empresa Hunter Douglas de Colombia

Abstract

This document is an Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan for the company Hunter Douglas Colombia, which encompasses the development of the following phases: (1) Diagnosis of the company’s waste generation and management, through an analysis of management indicators for the 2021–2023 period regarding recyclable, general, and hazardous waste, along with the review of the action plans implemented by the company during the study period, solid waste quartering sampling, and verification of the environmental licenses of waste management service providers; (2) Identification and assessment of the environmental impacts associated with the company’s waste generation and management, applying the CONESA impact assessment matrix; (3) Proposal of strategies to prevent, mitigate, and control environmental impacts derived from waste management, using the SWOT matrix, the Logical Framework Methodology of ECLAC, the development of an importance and governance matrix, and the prioritization matrix, resulting in strategies that enable the implementation of measures to improve solid waste management in compliance with environmental legal requirements.
