In some educational institutions of private character of the town of Kennedy, among which is the Military College Justiniano Quiñonez Angulo, was not a consolidated PRAE according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Education and under the guidelines of a methodological guide. However, environmental education has been one of the major concerns in this institution in particular; so for the year 2016 we decided to build an school environmental project with the aim of strengthening and articulate environmental actions to the curriculum by means of strategies aimed at the identification, location, prioritization and solution of the environmental problems of the real environment next. With the aim of promoting the recognition and appropriation of the environmental situation in the College, we think in a methodology that includes all the members of the educational community, which is divided into three stages: 1. Participatory Environmental Diagnosis, supported in a virtual survey and a series of workshops and virtual worked in person; 2. Design of the Environmental school Project and 3. The implementation of the PRAE in the educational institution. The priority issues as thrown by the participatory environmental diagnosis are the misuse and not conservation of the water resources, poor handling and disposal of solid waste, and the lack of green areas. On these issues are managed didactic strategies and pedagogical that included specific activities in a coordinated fashion to the area of Natural Sciences in support with other areas of knowledge; these activities correspond to the manufacture and use of a collector of rainwater, recycling campaigns "Reciclatón" on a regular basis and the construction and implementation of a vertical garden, accompanied by complementary actions. This has led to the educational community is actively linked to the rescue of the environment of the institution, has succeeded in bringing especially students to scientific knowledge through the analysis, understanding, reflection and active participation in pro build solutions to specific situations of their daily reality.
