Diseño de una Base de Datos Espacial e Implementación de un Visor Web Geográfico, Utilizando Herramientas de Software Libre para la Visualización de las Pólizas de Estabilidad Y Calidad de las Obras de Movilidad que Realiza el Instituto de Desarrollo Urbano (IDU)

Abstract

Mobility, transport terminology, is a quantitative parameter or variable that measures the amount of displacement that people engaged in a particular system or socioeconomic level. Basically it's just the set of displacements that occur in a physical context, and transportation systems means that make it possible. Improve conditions of mobility and ensure proper maintenance of the road network in a city like Bogotá, it is indispensable for the accessibility to the city as the displacement of citizens to their destinations and thus contribute to improving the quality of life of its inhabitants. For this case the development of a project in collaboration with the area of technology resources Urban Development Institute (IDU) was proposed. The focus is on the creation of a geographic web application that allows viewing and monitoring of stability and quality of the work force mobility policies conducted by the IDU. The project proposes to unify the information that allows monitoring and control works contracts that have existing policy, which is in charge of the Technical Department of Infrastructure Management (ICTD). For this case the works of mobility, which are carried in blood vial mesh, intermediate and local town, being these by passing the citizens in their daily private cars or on public transport were chosen. Applying a web viewer geographic monitoring process to policy stability contracts and / or quality force is a useful tool that can integrate information and streamline the process and thus guarantee the efficiency and the quality either for decision or consultation of information in real time.
