Resumen
In the present work, a series of didactic tools were made for the teaching and learning of organic functional groups using the active principles of three medicinal plants: Peppermint (Mentha spicata L), Rue (Ruta graveolens) and Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus). A bibliographic review of various repositories was carried out under a descriptive research perspective, focused on various didactics units in rural and urban areas; didactics tools and character. Limonaria of the most common medicinal plants used in Bogotá. Subsequently, a test of prior ideas was developed on the topics or performances established in the EBC for grade Eleven (Physico-chemical properties and organic functions), an ice-breaking activity focused on the identification and recognition of medicinal plants from the Bogotá environment, four guides on the recognition of organic functional groups, physical properties, essential oils and an experimental activity for the extraction of the active principles of the medicinal plant Limonaria. In turn, the validation of these materials was carried out by two expert peers and two academic peers in each of the didactics tools developed, generating a discussion based on the suggestions of the various validators, achieving reliability and validity in each teaching material prepared.
