Abstract

The purpose of this work is to build a technical support booklet for the development of medium and low voltage construction projects that facilitates and promotes the proper use and application of the standards and regulations in force. In this sense, this booklet will establish guidelines on the most relevant aspects that have been observed in the execution of such projects. These aspects start at the medium voltage connection point to the electrical panels, including the safety provided by grounding, the lightning protection system, conduits, wiring and electrical equipment. This, taking into account the fulfillment of the necessary requirements in the process of legalization of the energy service before the network operator and the RETIE certifying entities. For this purpose, the text will be divided into chapters showing the most important activities, in chronological order, of the type of project mentioned above. These chapters, in turn, will be broken down into specific sub-activities that will give an account of their description and respective procedures. In addition, some practical recommendations will be provided to promote project efficiency and, where appropriate, mention will be made of the most common and important bad practices incurred in each activity.
