Resumen
The research is aimed at exploring and characterizing situations that raise emotions of sadness, joy, anger and fear in children 4 to 5 years of age, through a proposal for educational intervention that addresses the study of emotions from children's stories and the design of teaching strategies such as the travel box and the reading club, which favor the participation of parents and / or guests in class activities. Its purpose is to help children, parents and teachers to recognize, understand and express emotions, so that spaces for dialogue are opened at school and at home for emotional education. The proposal of educational intervention constitutes a contribution for the teachers of initial education since it provides elements for the exploration and understanding of the emotions of the children, which favors their emotional, social and cognitive development and the coexistence inside and outside the school.
