Resumen
This document presents the results of a descriptive, qualitative research about social imaginaries on nature, in six 9 to 10 years old children from an specific neighbor of Bogotá : Ciudad Londres, which is located into a natural reserve. The objective of this study is to identify those imaginaries throw finding the imaginary significations of children that participate. As information collect techniques, an iconographic session and semi-structured interview were used. Children from Ciudad Londres has lived experiences very close to nature and has experienced countryside traditional practices into their families and their neighbor. That way of relationship has awaken on them happiness and positive emotions regarding nature. Most of imaginaries founded in children are “Instituted” ones, feed them by practices and sheets from family, school and TV as determinant social institutions in the imaginaries building process of children. An instituting imaginary identified is regarding the understanding of self-organized and autonomous ecosystems existence which man should not intervene.
