The Research Project "Of creations and languages, the Arts of Mother Earth as a possibility for dialogue" originated from the Formative Practice and the Research Seminar of the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Pedagogy of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. The project was developed with children of the fourth grade of the Carlos Arturo Torres I.E.D. institution in the city of Bogota, specifically in the locality of Kennedy. The project began with a contextual analysis that addressed both broad problems observed during the Formative Practices and specific issues in the 402 course. Then, the problematizing question, the objectives and the justification of the project based on the work with the children of the institution were posed. A review of the state of the question was carried out, including previous works of the Universidad Distrital in Early Childhood Pedagogy and Art Education, in addition to a conceptual framework that used relevant authors such as Arnheim, Vigotsky, among others. The methodological proposal was detailed with the selection of the sample, approach, research design and the specific techniques and tools for each phase (execution, collection and creation). The analysis focused on the categorization of data and its subsequent analysis, including findings, field diaries and children's discourses during the project sessions. The triangulation process was highlighted, presenting the emerging categories and the results of the Itinerant Art Exhibition. The project culminated with conclusions based on the results expected and obtained throughout the research process with the children. In addition, it is worth mentioning the socialization of the work in national and international academic events and its publication in the Academic Journal "Infancia Recuperada." Two presentations of papers in academic events were highlighted, one of them at the "IX International Symposium for an Equitable and Just Society" and the other at the "1st Latin American Translocal Meeting of Research Seedbeds." Finally, the research process is the result of the joint work of the teacher-researcher and her tutor. The main objective of the project was to answer whether artistic expression/creation, from the Arts of Mother Earth, strengthens oral communication in childhood, where the importance of children's voices in the development and meaning of the research project is highlighted.
