Resumen
Steel has many applications throughout the industry due to its strength, machinability and heavy duty use, all this would not be possible, except for its variability in mechanical properties, generated by the different thermal treatments that can be applied on this Material and the studies that have on it. For this study, AISI/SAE 1045 steel treated from intercritical temperatures was used; With the material, stress tests were developed to obtain the stress-strain graphs. The micrographs obtained from the material were used for the development of the model curves, with which the yield strength and tangent modulus properties were found, which were assigned to the discrete model in Ansys Workbench for the development of the macromodel; From the discrete model we obtained stresses and deformations with which the stress-strain diagrams were made. With the obtaining of the experimental and theoretical stress-strain diagrams, a comparison was made between the tensile tests and the macromodel obtained with the micrographs of each of the treatments. From the comparison the scope of the mechanical macromodels in a steel was considered and the recommendations that must be had, to further develop these.
