Resumen
IDRD, a public entity, is dedicated to promoting recreational and sports activities in Bogotá, covering the city's 20 localities and managing numerous parks and sports venues. Community participation is essential for the success of IDRD's projects and programs, as they are the direct beneficiaries. Therefore, the main objective of this internship was to generate adequate spaces for research and community participation through the Office of Local Affairs (OAL) and its activities. In the Office of Local Affairs of the District Institute of Recreation and Sports (IDRD) in Bogota, activities were carried out with the purpose of providing administrative support to the processes of this entity. The specific objectives included supporting DRAFE elections in various localities, gathering information and preparing management reports, accompanying activities and meetings related to citizen participation in physical activity, recreation and sports, and supporting the planning and development of the pre-diagnosis of local needs in the DRAFE sector. During the internship, actions such as the dissemination of information about the DRAFE in the educational and social communities, the collection of data on the needs in sport and recreation in the localities of Bosa and Teusaquillo, and assistance in local participation instances were carried out. This made it possible to increase community participation in decision-making related to physical, recreational and sports activities in Bogotá. As a result, a high impact was achieved in the promotion of DRAFE in the localities, with numerous candidates and voters registered in the elections. In addition, a data collection report was presented that provides an initial overview of the needs in the DRAFE sector in the localities of Bosa and Teusaquillo. The internship left a survey prepared to initiate the pre-diagnosis of needs in the DRAFE sector in all 20 localities of Bogota. These actions contributed to the fulfillment of the objectives of administrative support in the Office of Local Affairs of the IDRD and strengthened community participation in decision making to improve the quality of life in the city.
