Resumen
Tutoring Program for Learning and Integral Formation (PTA/FI 3.0 Let’s All Learn) is an initiative from the Ministry of National Education, which looks for giving a new sense of school time by opening spaces where students’ interests guide their learning through pedagogical strategy of interest centers. By the first semester of 2024, the pedagogical – dialogical intervention was carried out in a public school in Medellin, where this internship project aims to promote autonomous learning and engagement with English learning as a foreign language through interdisciplinary interest centers, having a dialogical learning approach which enable in-service and pre-service teachers to build egalitarian dialogues, where knowledge could be co-constructed, and where the value of listening and mutual understanding became essential, under the lens of holistic education to seek for students’ well-being and development of the whole person. It is worth noting that providing dialogic and interdisciplinary spaces transform learners’ language learning experiences in a second language, furthermore they transform the way learners experienced school as a space of growth, connection and possibility.
