Resumen
The main objective of this monograph is to design a sustainable home located in the Rincón del Contador village in the municipality of Pitalito, Huila. Since conventional constructions generate significant environmental impacts that, with the implementation of sustainable construction methodologies and appropriate technologies, it is possible to reduce them, improving the quality of life of the inhabitants and supplying the qualitative deficit needs of rural housing. To demonstrate this, a mixed methodology was used with qualitative and quantitative elements that are developed thanks to a sequential exploratory search, where data is collected and an analysis is subsequently carried out. It is then that the methodology is subdivided into 3 fundamental sections: the first of them is carried out to collect information from the municipality and the property, said information was mapped with the help of the ArcGIS software, describing the biotic, abiotic and socioeconomic environments in The document. In the second section, the most viable construction elements, the appropriate technologies are selected and the sustainable home is completely designed with the help of AutoCAD (2D) and Sketch Up (3D) software, to, finally, carry out an environmental sustainability study. . , technical feasibility, financial viability and social acceptability. Obtaining as results the characterization of a property suitable for construction, the design of a house of 188 m2 of occupancy, built with timber materials from the department, which has well-distributed wet areas, social and private spaces. In addition, the choice of 13 appropriate technologies grouped into: water resources, energy resources, green zones and bioclimate, as suggested by MADS (2012). Finally, with this monograph it is possible to demonstrate that sustainable housing has a lower environmental impact and lower cost in relation to traditional or conventional housing, also, that it presents a favorable result in its technical feasibility and high social acceptability, making its possible. construction and replication in rural areas of the municipality of Pitalito.
