Resumen
The following project is the result of the analysis and characterization of the communicative practices surrounding the memory of the armed conflict in Colombia. The project identifies the actors of the armed conflict, the strengths and weaknesses of the methodologies, and the target audiences. The project defines the concept of communicative practice and identifies the tendencies and theories that predominate in the methodologies used for historical memory communication, thus allowing the analysis of the relation between communicative practices and historical memory, as well as the relation between communicative practices and collective memory. The concept of communicative practices of the memory was used as the analysis category to reveal the way in which the memory of the conflict is being communicated, in order to prove the hypothesis that memory is communication. As a result, the present study discovered that the problem of memory is a problem of communication; a problem that exists as there is State that built over historical memory the need to remember of a country that is leaving aside communicative needs related to the collective memory and to the most fragile fragmented memories that not part of a national account. In terms of the sociocultural language and interpretation research line of this project, it is clear how the mental process of memory is symbolically created through various communication languages.
