Historias para danzar en tiempos de pandemia. Proceso de creación de la serie web "Volver"

Abstract

Historys to dance in times of pandemic, is an investigation - creation that seeks to demonstrate the impact that confinement has had on the practice of tango dance in the city of Bogotá, based on stories from some of its exponents such as: teachers of tango, dance companies and promoters of milongas. From elements such as: the story, the autobiography, the interview and the choreographic creation; which are compiled in 5 chapters of a web series called "Volver". This web series contributes to make visible the tango scene in the city as well as the different proposals from dance, which were raised to survive in a pandemic, in a historical moment in which we had to embrace the screen, adapting ourselves to the unknown and cling to the desperate creativity of new ways of living tango.
