Resumen
Within the framework of the project "Ecological Restoration in the Laguna de Socha of the Parque Nacional Natural Pisba - Phase 1", a nursery was established for the reproduction of some species typical of the páramo zone. Although sexual reproduction by means of seeds has been implemented for some species, asexual reproduction has not obtained satisfactory results; therefore, the current document proposes the asexual propagation of two species: Hesperomeles goudotiana (Decne.) Killip. and Macleania rupestris Kunth A.C. Smith, to later carry out their corresponding propagation protocols that consider the practices and techniques developed by the community linked to the nursery. Propagation was carried out by means of stakes for the species Hesperomeles goudotiana (Decne.) Killip. and Macleania rupestris Kunth A.C. Smith. The experimental design used was randomized blocks with a single level: variation of concentrations of hormonagro (ANA), with the purpose of evaluating the percentage of bud set, number of shoots, number of leaves, and percentage of survival. The results indicate that the success of asexual propagation of Hesperomeles goudotiana is determined by the control of environmental aspects, selection of vegetative material and the stage of development of the mother plant; meanwhile, the species Macleania rupestris does not require hormonal treatment for its propagation through cuttings.
