Divulgación y actualización de información geográfica de los planes de manejo de las áreas protegidas de parques nacionales naturales en ArcGIS online

Abstract

Protected areas are an important tool for biodiversity conservation; they generate national and international strategies for the conservation of the organisms that inhabit them, and they also serve as indicators of human interactions with respect to the natural environment; protected areas also represent a commitment to future generations within the framework of sustainable development. The management of protected areas goes beyond their declaration and delimitation, which is why complementary thematic lines have been created to complement the management plans, and as a result, the National Natural Parks of Colombia (PNNC) as a public and national entity, with the interest of disseminating mission information, has advanced the process of disseminating information on protected areas, has advanced processes of disclosure of the information collected from the different protected areas, in order to provide stakeholders with clear and detailed information on the processes that are carried out there, available as open data, in the context of this context the development of the internship was carried out.
