Resumen
The document analyzes and evaluates the chain of processes that limits the capacity or bottleneck in an information channel, this reference data was obtained from an IT sector company that uses Cisco technology and collects data through of the Netflow protocol, the indicators were used to show the consumption of information generated by a client, thus identifying the applications with the highest consumption in a period or time range and determining the cause of saturation of an information channel, As previously mentioned, the channel captures data through NetFlow, which is a network protocol developed by Cisco Systems to collect information about IP traffic. Netflow has become a standard that when applied improves the performance of the channel, however, can saturation in services be identified due to the high demand for processing? Through the Ergodic model, which is a mathematical model that evaluates average behavior, an identification test is carried out that consists of taking input data and evaluating them to find a solution. It is necessary to point out that AVC technology was implemented for the devices sampled " Application Visibility and Control ”. Due to the above, a code was designed for the development of the project, a software with a high level of processing was used that allows operations between matrices, in this case MATLAB and with this software it was evaluated whether the communication channel is Ergodic or not, thus , it will be possible to identify, which applications or processes cause the saturation of the service ?, being the viable case, get to answer the question: can it be optimized?
