Análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de publicaciones en agricultura urbana y periurbana en Bogotá realizadas en la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas en la ventana 2012 – 2022

Abstract

The José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden in the framework of compliance with agreement 605 of 2015 of the Council of Bogota "By which the guidelines are formulated to institutionalize the program of urban, peri-urban and agroecological agriculture in the city of Bogota". It has been promoting projects and research hand in hand with the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in the framework of cooperation agreements, this higher education institution has been carrying out and contributing different publications on this topic at a technical, scientific and pedagogical level from its different curricular projects. This is why this project sought to conduct a review of the publications made by the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in the field of urban and peri-urban agriculture in Bogota, with a period of 10 years, from 2012 to 2022, using excel as a basis for organizing the documents found in the RIUD "Repositorio Institucional Universidad Distrital". An individual review of each document was made to learn about the approaches, faculty, teachers, directors, years of publication, among other characteristics that would allow us to describe and analyze the documents, thus being able to know how these publications impact knowledge and how the academy contributes to these initiatives of the José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden and the Mayor's Office of Bogotá, these results were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, in terms of urban and peri-urban gardens in the city of Bogotá D.C. Analysis tools such as excel, Atlas ti and Power BI were used. Word clouds were generated with the Atlas ti tool and frequency graphs with Power BI. Among the most outstanding results of the qualitative analysis of the documents from each faculty, it was found that the most important approaches are related to the words lettuce, vegetablegarden, eating, production and agriculture. This is in accordance with the mission of each faculty and the curricular projects they offer. For the quantitative analysis Power BI was used, in order to achieve synthesize the qualitative results of the Bibliographic Matrix, among the most important results we have that the year of greatest publication of documents related to urban and peri-urban orchards by the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, was in 2018 with a total of 12 publications the which represent 25.53% of the analyzed documents. It was also found that the largest topic or approach published is in "Environmental Education" with 33.33% of the total, which is observed in 8 publications, this since the faculties that most produce documents related to the topic of urban and peri-urban gardens, is the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, followed by the Faculty of Sciences and Education, both with a missionary focus on education and care for the environment.
