Resumen
The index of people with disabilities in Colombia exceeds 6% of the population, and the highest concentration is found in low-income families and / or vulnerability, for this reason, access by these people to transfemoral prostheses, it is almost nil. For this reason, the degree project defined as a research modality was designed a transfemoral prosthesis with real parameters obtaining the model in such a way that it was possible to simulate and analyze gait behavior in amputee patients transfemoral.
The alternative solution for the development of this proposal consisted in the design of a transfemoral prosthesis using SolidWorks software, in order to export the parameters of design to Matlab, once these SolidWorks parameters have been acquired, by means of the visual programming tool (SIMULINK), we proceeded to adapt the parameters in a prosthesis model that in turn will interact with the inverted pendulum equations, a Once the aforementioned modeling had been defined, the system was stimulated by a random pulse, which replaces an electromyography signal captured at through invasive or surface electrodes as there is no signal real electromyographic. Once the behavior of the movement of the in progress, the kinematics analysis of the system will be carried out.
With the development of this research it was possible to analyze the kinematic behavior of a transfemoral prosthesis throughout the phases of human gait, where it is possible to observe the variation of the movement of the prosthetic leg with respect to the kinematics of the gait in a healthy person, however, the angles obtained for each of the joints have a behavior similar to said kinematics and future s, the model could be scaled for a patient with these conditions. Throughout the document it will be highlighted and the pertinent results to this investigation.
