Resumen
This thesis project arises from the need to ensure the verification of the NSR 10 standard (which regulates the construction of 1 and 2-storey housing), seeking to unite the theoretical part that this standard provides us with the daily practice in the construction of housing in sectors with few economic resources and with special soil conditions.
In this sense the present work was developed looking to study the resistance of the mortars of stick, used in constructions of one and two floors, in conditions similar to those presented on site.
To achieve this goal, the use of different types of sands obtained from various deposits in the town of Usme in the city of Bogotá was sought, choosing as a place of storage, design and analysis, the Francisco José de Caldas University Faculty of Technology.
For the development of this project The fundamental thing to evaluate is the compressive strength using a volumetric dosage of 1: 4 (cement, sand), stipulated in the NSR10 Title E.3, in order to verify if said dosage reaches a resistance of 7.5 Mpa at 28 days.
In this project several of the acquired knowledge will be applied, such as laboratory tests, interpretation and analysis of technical norms focused on the construction area, reading texts. To diverse representative samples of the fine aggregates of the Usme locality, for the elaboration of mortar applied in confined masonry.
