Resumen
Knowing that the market places are a place of supply of the family shopping basket, but
that thank stothe advances and betterstructured and private local creations, which take into account
the health and hygiene of food, the sale of meat and the basic elements of the family shopping
basket which can be found there; the districts quares have been losing importance with respect to
these new proposals for sale that have been implemented in the commercial sector during these
years. For these reason sitis required to developan environmental diagnosis that will help usto
identify the environmental impacts generated now in the squares. The impacts to identify are: water
resources, solid waste, infrastructure of the squares, the manipulation of food and socio-economic
aspects.
Based on the methodology study of case with multipleunits of case, is managed to develop the
elaboration of matrices of analysis for identify them impacts potential of each an of them activities
that is per for thin the plaza of market. Additionally is made a list of check which usallowed
identify them impacts potential that is should review and through the methodology DOFA is
identified them strengths and weak nesses that juxtaposed to them surtifruver and them largechains
of marketing private and whole sale, identifying so them impacts and posible solutions to them
squares of market local back to be competitive and attractive for them consumers.
It was established that the environmental impacts that most affect the market places are: the
generation of odours, poor disposal of solid waste and dumping that generate each one of the
plazas; already in the social part, is the damage to the landscape that affects trade in the squares.
On the other hand, as results are identified that, through corrective measures, as the food hygiene
and the preventive measures with good processes, it can enh ance those impacts and to publicize a
different vision of the seats to the inhabitants and communities that surround them, in order to
generate more jobs and income to the peasant communities.
