Resumen
The need for mobility has forced the development of different transport alternatives, making this a vital issue in urban and territorial planning as they directly influence the overall functioning of the city. One of the main problems that directly affect users is the waiting time at bus stops to access the public transport service, this ranges between 10, 20 and 28 minutes. For this reason, a real-time data collection system is proposed, in a model route on which the pertinent tests will be carried out where it will be sought to know with certainty the location of the bus. This system will be based on LoRa technology, where the device integrated to the vehicle sends information to a gateway, responsible for uploading the information to the internet and in this way users can consult this information through their Smartphones or computers.
