Degree work initially develops a historical context the term disability, types of disabilities currently presented and addressing youth on condition of cognitive impairment in the I.E.D. Gustavo Restrepo headquarters in the exclusive class D mode. Sets out the factors that threaten the employment relationship of six young people in condition of cognitive impairment IED Gustavo Restrepo, analyzes family and curricular aspects that affect the continuity of the process of working relationship of youth in condition of cognitive impairment, identifies occupational profiles of employer firms and educational institution points and divergence in job training, also visualizes forms of inclusion and exclusion of young people in condition of cognitive impairment It takes as its unit of analysis a discussion with parents, the occupational profile of I.E.D. Gustavo Restrepo and the employing companies, the curriculum of the school and work performance of six young people indisability status. According to this research, the process of labor relationship of young people in disability status I.E.D. Gustavo Restrepo headquarter D, has yet to truly position themselves in the place of recognition of this condition, there are evident in this process, equal and fair opportunities to help close the various gaps that segregate this population,resumes, profiles, schedules , functions, taken from the business model discriminate the person on disability status, labor inclusion should represent recognition and fulfillment of each of the members of this social group.
