Resumen
This work is based on the need to support the practice of empirical choral directors who work with people over 18 years of age in parish choirs. The objective of this material is to provide pedagogical-musical approach tools to empirical choral directors who work with people of legal age, based on three main axes such as the director's work and what he must take into account during the assembly of the repertoire, basic fundamentals of vocal technique and finally a rehearsal routine. To carry out this work, texts and articles on children's choral direction, vocal health and vocal pedagogy that support the proposed routine are taken as reference. Also, some interviews were conducted with people who belong to a parish choir (chorists and director) in order to learn a little about their journey and what they have been able to observe during their participation in the choir. This text consists of three parts; In the first part, basic tools of choral direction are given (approach to the piece, gesture, posture), the second part briefly talks about some terms of vocal technique (breathing, vocalization and emission) and finally the proposal of a routine of 14-session trial with exercises for body activation, breathing, rhythm and vocal warm-up.
