Resumen
This project is done with the purpose of knowing the involvement in Burnout syndrome in the country with its different causes and incidence rates, this study is based on information found in studies done by universities, articles, books and web pages in In the different cities and regions of the country, industries with higher incidence, the most used method to diagnose a patient and the evolution that this phenomenon has had year after year from 2000 to 2017 in Colombia will be analyzed. A qualitative and quantitative search of the syndrome is made. In the qualitative part, the most common causes for its appearance and the techniques that are used to know its different levels are sought, in the quantitative block a compilation of statistical information is made of the affected industries that found the different sources already mentioned in the paragraph Previously, this by means of the samples that each of the articles contains, in total 36 sources were found to numerically analyze their low, medium and high percentages in the branches of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal fulfillment. These analyzes are mentioned in a disaggregated and conglomerate manner, in the disaggregated part are each of the studies that were found of the labor areas in Colombia, with their respective year of study and diagnostic methodology and in the conglomerate all the information is collected thus forming a macro to bring the study to a better visualization at regional level, by year and by industry, thus fulfilling the objectives set forth and mentioned below. The year in which there were the highest levels of emotional exhaustion was in 2009 with 95% followed by 2015 with 43% and 3014 with 42% and the lowest in the high levels was 2015 with 3% of people in Colombia. For the middle levels the highest in this categorization was presented in 2010 with 73% of the workers affected, the lowest percentage in the middle levels was in 2009 with 5% of the population, for the low levels the levels with the lowest percentage occurred in 2009 with 0%, that is, this has been the year most affected by emotional exhaustion. 60% of employees in primary health care are being affected by personal fulfillment in Colombia, unlike emotional exhaustion which has a low incidence with 69% of affected employees. The industry that is most affected is that of teachers with percentages above 40% for what is personal achievement, it is worth mentioning that the level of personal achievement is the core of the syndrome for that reason the percentages there shown are the most important to determine which employees are going through Burnout syndrome. Dentistry based on this research is one of the branches of medicine that is not being affected by Burnout syndrome, its highest levels do not exceed 4%. The year with the lowest percentage of incidence in personal achievement was 2017 with a% of 98%, remember that low levels means that they are a person who is not being affected by this phenomenon.
33% of medical employees are being affected with Burnout syndrome, this percentage was obtained from 329 employees who were evaluated.
The most affected industry in Burnout syndrome in this study were prison guards with 36% of affected 107 employees who were evaluated, although only one study is a large sample of people to determine that this industry is being highly affected.
