Resumen
Georreferencing is a process to get a geographic position of an element in a coordinate system. This document wanted to continue the georreferencing process made by Bohórquez y Angel (2014), which look for georreferencing the locations of the botanic specimens deposited in the UDBC forest herbarium. The methodology was based in the retrospective georreferencing principles, and it get a classification of four location categories. The departments with the biggest georreferencing numbers were Cundinamarca, Meta, Santander, Bogotá, and Valle del Cauca. The five departments with the best representativeness were Arauca, Bogotá, La Guajira, Quindío and Vaupés. Retrospective georreferencing is important to get quality improvement of the information in biologic colections, as well as we suggest to stablish new collection tracks for Antioquia, Atlántico, Bolivar, Cesar and Magdalena.
